This lockdown has given many of us more free time than we’ve had before. The time that we never imagined we’d have to be productive in quarantine.
Based on our circumstances, this extra time allows us to do stuff we’ve always liked to do or would like to do more of.
I believe it is reasonable for us to use this time productively and do things important to us.
How to Pass Time in Quarantine?
So, let’s get started on eight productive stuff you can do at the house when you’re quarantined or under lockdown… You’ll be happy you took the time to do so.
-
READ the BOOK
Read the book or (SERIES) you’ve has been putting off for a long time.
Starting at the top of the list is a good place to start. Nothing makes me happier than fully indulging myself in a novel, focusing solely on the book, its characters, and the plot.
We now have the chance to do so. Books help us exercise our brains, expand our vocabularies, reduce tension, and develop our imagination.
This is the best way to increase productivity in quarantine.
-
WATCH A DOCUMENTARY SERIES
This action could lead to a trap. While watching a relaxing TV series on Netflix can be a fun way to pass the time, it can also be a waste of time, as you may find yourself binge-watching shows that don’t benefit you in any way. But waste your leisure time.
I recommend that you watch documentaries and learn about your favorite topics in addition to your usual TV viewing habits.
You might decide to watch a documentary series on Netflix that you’ve never heard of before, which is fantastic. A Netflix membership is inexpensive, and there are plenty of factual shows to watch when you’re in quarantine.
-
KEEP A BLOG: productivity in quarantine
It’s always a smart option – and a highly efficient one – to keep track of your feelings, habits, and learnings.
You may reflect on this period and process your thoughts or feelings for the previous day or week. You could do that in privacy on your computer, smartphone, or, better yet, a journal.
Consider taking it a step further by creating a personal blog where you can transform your everyday experiences into daily or weekly posts that others can read and learn from.
Putting words on paper once a day, in any case, might be ten minutes worth spent.
-
ENROL ON A FREE COURSE: productivity in quarantine
Enrolling in a course and completing exams and assignments would help you expand your skills and improve your CV.
For example, the Open University offers a wide variety of courses offered that anyone can register in for free and begin learning about everything from history and the arts to culture, politics, and law.
You can access your development profile, and record accomplishments earned while studying by creating a free profile on the OpenLearn website.
You can also choose from a variety of other programs. Other providers can be found at FutureLearn or Edx.

SET UP A WORKOUT ROUTINE
How long have we been waiting to get started on this activity? If you work out regularly, you already know that consistency is the secret to a good and reliable exercise program.
I don’t have to remind you about the advantages of working out and staying in shape. But, are you able to obtain some basic workout equipment?
If you follow any of the exercise videos uploaded to Youtube, like the Joe Wicks routine, you won’t even need such appliances.
This exercise routine was recently recognized as a Guinness World Record holder for the largest live viewers of a workout.
This is my health increase productivity in quarantine.

LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE: productivity in quarantine
How many times have you shown an interest in learning a foreign language? I’m sure you’ve done it many times previously.
You now have the opportunity to do so. You can do it quickly and for free with apps like Memrise and Duolingo, or you can hire a private instructor on a site like Preply.
